An open letter to the U.S.P.A Membership:
I would like to announce that I have regretfully accepted the resignation of Bob Wolinski as President of the U.S.P.A. As required by ARTICLE IV, Section 2 of the the Constitution, Bob sent his letter of resignation to Cheryl Wodzisz, U.S.P.A Secretary.
Bob has served on the U.S.P.A. Board for ten years. He began his 5 year tenure representing the members of Connecticut as their Director from 2013- 2018 until he was elected Sgt.at Arms. In 2019, the Vice President resigned, Bob answered the call and accepted the position. Upon the untimely death of my mom, Barb Haselow in 2021, Bob assumed the role and responsibilities of President. His steadfast guidance and support helped the U.S.P.A navigate through difficult uncharted waters.
We thank Bob for the 10 years of service, ideas, laughs and time he has so generously given to the U.S.P.A. We wish him the very best and look forward to seeing him at future polka events.
As of today, I will be assuming the role of President and have appointed Helenrae Budzilek to be the Vice President. Helenrae is known throughout the polka world and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with her. She will be a welcome asset to the Executive Board and we are looking forward to working with her.
